Burn. Or Warm. Change Is a Choice…

Just my two cents (mainly posting this as a written reminder for myself)…

As I scroll through my Facebook feed currently, I see so many hurting people during this season. Many of them are fighting a desperate struggle against loss, loneliness, and isolation. Just think what it could mean if we all worked to turn the social media world into a place of encouragement and support rather than constant arguments and contention. Bottom line? Social media, in and of itself, is a neutral element. But we have an OPPORTUNITY every day to use it as a positive tool for good in the lives of others.

Currently, I am challenging myself to maximize that opportunity for good and find ways through my posts and interactions to be a person of grace, gratitude, and generosity during this season. Remember, all it takes is one match, just one spark to get a fire going. Burn or warm. The same fire that injures can also be the same fire that provides comfort. And so, it is the same with both our actions and our words. We all have a choice. And that choice can bring about change if we just have the courage to embrace it. Take care and God bless.
